Lakeland, FL – For the fifth consecutive year, Lakeland Regional Health President and CEO Elaine C. Thompson, PhD, FACHE, has been named to Becker’s Hospital Review’s “135 Non-Profit Hospital and Health System CEOs to Know.” Dr. Thompson has been listed every year since the list’s inception in 2012.

During her tenure, the Hollis Cancer Center and Medical Center were honored as one of 101 Hospitals and Health Systems with Great Oncology Programs in 2016 by Becker’s Hospital Review. Forbes recognized Lakeland Regional Health on its best employers lists in both 2015 and 2016. The nation’s busiest single-site Emergency Department continues to garner national and international recognition for its award-winning performance improvement effort.
