Tim Boynton Named One of World’s Top Emerging Healthcare Philanthropy Leaders

Lakeland, FL – Timothy J. Boynton, Lakeland Regional Health Vice President of Development and Chief Public Relations and Communications Officer, is one of the top emerging healthcare philanthropy leaders around the globe, according to a list released today by the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy.

The organization’s 2019 40 Under 40 list recognizes future leaders within the international healthcare philanthropy community.

“Tim is an outstanding leader who is shaping the future of the healthcare development industry,” said Elaine C. Thompson, PhD, FACHE, Lakeland Regional Health President and CEO. “We are so pleased that the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy chose to recognize the exceptional qualities that make him such a valuable asset to our executive team.”

Mr. Boynton will be honored at the 2019 Association for Healthcare Philanthropy Conference at the end of October.

“These honorees are part of a select group of healthcare philanthropy who have demonstrated impressive career achievements, deep community involvement and the potential to be a leader in our profession for years to come,” said Alice Ayres, Association for Healthcare Philanthropy President and CEO.

 

Among Mr. Boynton’s accomplishments at Lakeland Regional Health:

  • Implementing an employee giving program with over 76% participation.
  • Establishing the annual Promise Run, now in its sixth year, to raise much-needed funds for the Hollis Cancer Center through 5k and 10k races.
