Cerner Proxy Access

Accessing your child's medical information

Cerner is an online tool that provides medical information about care provided at Lakeland Regional Health Medical Center.

With Cerner proxy access you can:

• See all or portions of you/your child’s medical record, including some test results, scans and images depending on the age of the child

• Monitor health care provided

• Send secure messages to some members of the health care team

• Request prescription renewals

About Proxy Access for Parents/Guardians

To view medical records or make healthcare decisions on behalf of your child, you must have proxy authorization. Please read the below to find out how to get proxy access for your child. When proxy access is granted, please check your email for an access link.

For Children 12 or Younger:

Parents/guardians have full access to the child’s Cerner information and can request a proxy account by providing their email address to hospital registration in person, or by calling 863.687.1100, ext. 2299.

For 13- to 17-Year-Old Children:

If Cerner proxy access was granted prior to age 13, it will go away once the patient turns 13. To request proxy access, the child must call 863.687.1100, ext. 2299 to authorize access for their parent/guardian.

For Young Adults Ages 18 and Older:

If proxy access was granted between ages 13-17, this access will continue after age 18. If the patient wishes to remove proxy access, they must call the help line at 863.687.1100, ext. 2299 to request proxy access removal.

To request new proxy access, the patient must call the help line at 863.687.1100, ext. 2299.

If you are responsible for the care of a person who is cognitively limited or otherwise incapacitated, please call our Cerner patient support line at 863.687.1100, ext. 2299 for help getting proxy access established.
