Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Lakeland Regional Health

At Lakeland Regional Health, we deliver the best outcomes and safest care by placing people at the heart of all we do. We believe diversity and inclusion drive overall wellbeing and the quality of life for every community member. It is our goal to amplify equity — by providing culturally competent care to all, equal access to opportunities, healthcare education, and support resources.

Diversity and Equity Council

The Diversity and Equity Council (DEC) was created to develop strategic solutions, education, and initiatives that drive lasting and meaningful change across Lakeland Regional Health. The Council includes a broad representation from across the health system as well as members of our community.

Thrive University is an annual month-long immersive experience focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion where team members can participate in education opportunities, engage in roundtable discussions, and take part in group activities.
