The Lakeland Regional Health Center for Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine is located at the Grasslands Campus at 3030 Harden Boulevard.
Our program specializes in the treatment of problem wounds that result from diabetes, circulatory issues and trauma. The physicians at the Wound Care Center coordinate an overall care plan for our patients, working with the patient’s primary care physician and care team.
The Wound Care Center features state-of-the-art hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT). Patients receiving HBOT treatment breathe 100 percent oxygen inside a pressurized chamber. HBOT quickly delivers high concentrations of oxygen to the bloodstream and assists in healing wounds, stimulating the growth of new blood vessels, improving circulation and helping to fight certain types of infections. HBOT is used to treat many types of injuries, including crush injuries, radiation effects, osteomyelitis (bone infection), skin grafts and flaps, brown recluse spider bites and diabetic wounds of the lower legs.
Our Wound Care Center is open Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4 pm. To schedule an appointment, please call 863.284.1700. Appointments do not require a physician referral.
