Orthopedic Surgery
Orthopedic surgeons are specially trained to provide medical and surgical care of the musculoskeletal system: fractures, trauma, joints, ligaments, tendons, muscles, and nerves. Subspecialties include: sports medicine, trauma, hand, hip and knee, shoulder and elbow, and total joint replacement.

Joint Replacement
Lakeland Regional Health leads the area in the number of joint procedures performed (including shoulder surgery) and is recognized statewide for its expertise and capabilities in total joint replacements. We offer a number of modern hip and knee implants to provide you with a more accurate fit and ensure a more natural range of motion. Your surgeon can offer improved results and added precision with computer-assisted surgeries that more accurately align implants and reduce stress on the joint, allowing longer use of the implant.

For more information about total joint replacement, check out our Total Joint Replacement booklet available on our Patient Education page or call 863.687.1100, ext. 2975.

Total Joint Class
Our Total Joint class is offered every Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. in the B201 classroom of the Medical Center and is for patients preparing for Total Joint Replacement surgery. No registration is required.
