Katha Ellis is an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner seeing Cardiology patients at our Pablo Campus. Ms. Ellis earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Florida in Gainesville and Master of Science degree in Nursing from Florida Southern College. Ms. Ellis spent more than 30 years as a Registered Nurse, primarily at Central Florida Surgi-Center, and is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Nicole Hinds, MD, joins Lakeland Regional Health as a Pediatrician. Dr. Hinds earned her Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery degree from The University of the West Indies in Kingston, Jamaica. She completed her Pediatric Residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in Newark, New Jersey, and Joseph A. Sanzari Children’s Hospital in Hackensack, New Jersey. Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, Dr. Hinds sees patients at the Lake Gibson location, 5135 US Highway 98 N, Lakeland. Vanessa L. Prowler, MD, joins Lakeland Regional Health Hollis Cancer Center as a Breast Surgeon. Dr. Prowler earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from Florida State University in Tallahassee. She completed her Residency in General Surgery at the University of South Florida in Tampa and her Fellowship in Breast Surgical Oncology at Mount Sinai Beth Israel Medical Center/St. Lukes-Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York City.
