The following recipe is provided by the Florida Blueberry Growers Association.
BLUEBERRY FRUIT SHAKE
Yields about 2 1/2 cups (3 servings)
2 cups frozen blueberries (unsweetened)
1 cup frozen mixed fruit (including cantaloupe, honeydew,
grapes, peaches, etc)
1 cup milk
1 tablespoon sugar (or sugar substitute)
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
In the container of a food processor or blender, place blueberries, mixed fruit, milk, sugar and vanilla extract.
Whirl until smooth. Serve immediately.
NUTRITIONAL INFORMATION PER SERVING: 130 calories, 30 grams of carbohydrates, 2 grams fat, 6 grams protein, 73 milligrams sodium, 23 grams sugar.
