Patients & Visitors

Making your visit to our hospital as pleasant as possible.

Our mission is to make your visit, treatment or stay at our facility as relaxed as possible. We understand that any medical procedure can be stressful, but planning ahead for the little details can help relieve some of that anxiety.

A Tobacco-Free Campus

All Lakeland Regional Health facilities are tobacco-free. The use of tobacco products of any kind, including cigarettes, electronic cigarettes, cigars, pipes, chewing tobacco, etc., is not allowed on any LRH property, including parking lots and parking garages. Those wishing to use such products must completely leave LRH-owned property. These locations include not just the main hospital campus, but all other outpatient locations. Lakeland Regional Health Cancer Center has been tobacco-free since its opening.

Living Wills

Every competent adult has, in most cases, the freedom to accept or refuse medical treatment. When you are well, you can talk with your physician and family and make your wishes known. However, severe illness or an accident could cause you to be unable to communicate or to make choices. During that time, important decisions about your medical care may have to be made. Without any written instructions from you, your family and physicians would have to guess what treatment you would want.

Please take a moment to review our Living Wills page to make sure you are prepared.
