What is Lakeland Regional Health Patient Portal?

Lakeland Regional Health Patient Portal is a secure online service that provides you with access to healthcare information contained in your global health record. It also allows you to safely and quickly share important and possibly lifesaving electronic medical information with healthcare facilities and providers.

What information does Lakeland Regional Health Patient Portal offer?

Lakeland Regional Health Patient Portal provides access to medical information that you or your healthcare provider will find helpful in meeting your health needs. Information includes laboratory results and summaries of your hospital and clinic visits. You can also enter your own medical information into your global health record.

Where can I use Lakeland Regional Health Patient Portal?

Your global health record is portable and travels with you. You can access your Lakeland Regional Health Patient Portal account 24 hours a day, seven days a week, anywhere in the world with Internet access and a web browser. Supported browsers are Internet Explorer, Firefox and Safari.

If you are using a pop-up blocker, you will need to allow the service to display pop-ups (often called “whitelisting”). Please review documentation for the product you are using to determine how to add to your whitelist.

Is there a cost for this service?

No. Lakeland Regional Health Patient Portal is offered free of charge to our patients.

How do I sign up? Is it difficult?

The easiest way to sign up is to use the invitation email sent by your provider using the email address Please click on the link in your email and provide the information requested to complete the registration process.

If you do not have an invitation email, please visit and provide the information requested. You may also copy and paste this link into your web browser’s address field to complete the registration process. It takes less than five minutes for most users to register.

I have signed up but forgot my username and/or password. What do I do?

Visit and click on the link that says ‘I forgot my username or password.’ Enter the email address you used to create your account. Next, log into your email account and look for an email from RelayHealth Customer Support ( that contains a link to reset your password. Click this link to complete the process.

Is my health information secure?

All the information you provide during the online registration process is confidentially processed. Once your registration is complete, you will be able to safely view, print and download your medical information for personal use or to share with your other doctors and healthcare providers.

Although Lakeland Regional Health Patient Portal uses safeguards, there are other safety tips you should follow when accessing this service. Always remember to protect your username and password from others and make sure to only log on from a personal or secure computer or mobile device.

Who is RelayHealth and why are they contacting me about a Lakeland Regional Health Patient Portal?

RelayHealth is partnering with Lakeland Regional to provide our web-based service through which patients and providers (physicians and their authorized staff) can communicate securely.

Who can access my health information?

Once you complete the registration process, you decide who can see your medical information and what information is available to your authorized healthcare providers.

Can I see who has looked at my global health record?

Yes. You have the ability to look at your account information that contains the dates and times when your authorized healthcare providers have accessed your global health record.

Under your Health Records tab, click Access History in the left navigation panel. Under each tab, you can see who viewed or updated your health record data.

Why should I grant my healthcare providers with access to my global health record?

Granting your healthcare providers access to your medical information helps you avoid unnecessary tests, treatments and delays in care. In addition, if you become gravely ill and cannot speak, your global health record may provide potentially lifesaving information to your authorized healthcare providers.

How do I link to a doctor?

Under the Home tab, choose Link to a New Doctor and select Add a Doctor. Enter the doctor’s last name and office zip code to view and select your provider.

Can I later block someone from accessing my global health record?

Yes. You can always access your account and change your authorization preferences under the Your Providers tab. You may also contact our service partners at RelayHealth Customer Support by phone at 866.735.2963, Option 1.

How do I stop participating in the Patient Portal (‘opt out’)?

Visit You will find the option to cancel your membership in the Account section. By doing so, you will no longer be able to message your provider. Your provider and authorized staff can still view a “snapshot” of your medical information at the time you deactivate your membership, but they will not be able to message you using this service.

Are there other benefits to using Lakeland Regional Health Patient Portal?

Future enhancements planned for this service include communication tools to request medication refills, schedule appointments and securely contact your participating healthcare providers about non-urgent medical questions.

How old do I have to be to have a Patient Portal account?

The minimum age for creating an account is 18 years. Lakeland Regional’s current policy does not allow a parent or guardian to create a separate account for a minor child.

Can I use the portal in a language other than English?

You can view most patient portal pages in Spanish. To set Spanish as your preferred language, visit the Account tab and click Edit on the Preferred Language line under Account Information. Select Spanish from the drop down list, and click Save.

Can I download or print my health data?

Yes. On left side of the screen click the Blue Button – Download My Data. You can then save (download) documents to your device or open to view and print the document. Please note that some devices may not be set up for printing.
