LRMC to Host 13th Annual Victorian Tea.

LRMC is proud to announce the 13th Annual Tea for Breast Health Awareness on Friday, October 4th. This free event will take place at First Presbyterian Church in Lakeland, Florida, from 2:00-3:30 p.m.
Nancy Cattarius, of Hall Communications, will emcee the event. Jean Lund, breast cancer survivor, will share her story with the audience during her presentation, “My Journey to Survival.” Robin S. Stewart, Manager of Clinical Research at Lakeland Regional Cancer Center, will examine the connections between genetics and cancer in her lecture, “Genetics and Cancer: What does it Really Mean?” And Martha Lima, M.D., of Radiologist and Imaging Specialists, will discuss new technologies in her talk, “Harnessing the Latest Technology in the Fight Against Breast Cancer.”
Attendees arriving early to the event can participate in the Women’s Health Fair, from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. The program will also feature a panel of physicians available to answer questions.
The event is free and is open to the public, but registration is required. Light refreshments will be served and door prizes will be awarded.
